Shots
It is a specially manufactured abrasive. Shots are produced rounded and ribbed (also called “chopped”).
S-type – steel shots are of the shape of ball, spherical shots of extremely durable steel and fully thermally tempered. The shots of single structure and type ensuring optimum resistance to wear. This is the most suitable abrasive material for wheel blasters. The durability of shots and resistance to impacts provides the maximum surface cleaning coefficient at lowest costs.
G-type shots – -cast steel angular shots manufactured by crushing special tempered steel shots. These are used for blast cleaning and preparation.
GH- the most durable mixtures of abrasives that always remain angular. These are the most effective shots for surface preparation for obtaining matt “cut” surface. GH shots are used in wheel blasters in those cases where surface preparation requires especially soft surface (e. g. For rolled surfaces) and are mostly used for air cylinders.
